Steak Deals & Price Tracker

A transparent framework for comparing steak value across sellers.

Compare value without invented prices

The price tracker is not connected to retailer feeds yet, so this page does not list live deals, fabricated discounts or stock status. You can still use the comparison method below to decide whether an offer you have found is genuinely useful.

Write down the exact cut, quantity, included weight and delivery cost. Then check the offer conditions and the date. An undated screenshot or a price that applies only to a large mixed box is not a dependable comparison for tonight’s steak.

A deal checklist

CheckQuestion to answer
Product matchIs it the same cut, grade, bone status and portion size?
Real totalWhat is the price after shipping, fees and applicable discounts?
Usable yieldHow much purchased weight is bone or unwanted trim?
Offer conditionsDo I need a subscription, minimum order or first-time-customer status?
Freshness of evidenceWhen was the price observed, and is the offer still valid?
Fit for the mealWill I actually cook all the items required to obtain the deal?

The calculation

Delivered cost per pound = (product cost + required shipping − eligible discounts) ÷ included pounds. For a bone-in or mixed package, label the result as purchased-weight cost rather than pretending it is cost per pound of edible steak.

Example only: a hypothetical 4-pound boneless-steak order at $80 with $15 shipping totals $95, or $23.75 per purchased pound. This is a worked example, not a current seller price or a claim of savings.

When a sale is not good value

A thin steak can be difficult to cook the way you want even when it is discounted. A huge long-bone steak may not give you more usable servings than a smaller boneless cut. A freezer bundle can waste money when half its contents are not what your household eats.

Compare a deal with a realistic alternative from the same market and date, rather than with a crossed-out reference price you cannot verify. If you only need two portions, a large minimum order may make an attractive per-pound figure irrelevant.

What a future live tracker should show

Each price record should identify the retailer, exact product, package weight, grade or program, bone status, shipping assumptions, offer conditions and last-checked time. A buy link should point to the matching listing. Stale or unavailable entries should be marked clearly.

Affiliate status should be disclosed where relevant and should not determine the comparison criteria. Until dependable feeds or a repeatable verification process are connected, this page remains a buying framework rather than a live market ticker.
